Two consultation papers have been issued by the Treasury Minister, asking for views on possible future changes to personal and business taxation.
The Fiscal Strategy Review asks for your views on personal taxation and highlights a range of possible changes which may be needed to help bring the island's budget back into balance.
For instance -
* Increase GST from 3% to 5%
* Raise the ceiling on social security contributions to £115,000
* Triple domestic property rates
* Introduce a higher rate of income tax (30% on income over £100,000)
Islanders are being asked how these, and other options, would affect Jersey as a place to live, work and do business.

The Business Tax Review sets out the background to, and reasons for reviewing corporate taxation, and asks what impact any future changes would have on Jersey as a place to do business.
