The Employment Forum has today issued its latest review of the Minimum Wage.

There is a general survey, which is suitable for all respondents (employers, trade unions, etc), and a second survey which is intended for minimum wage earning employees.

You will see that the surveys have been simplified. The Forum hopes to encourage more responses from employees who earn the minimum wage and employers who pay the minimum wage.

The website also provides Polish and Portuguese translations of the employee survey and a Background paper which summarises previous minimum wage reviews and gives details of minimum wages in the UK, Isle of Man, and Guernsey.

A public meeting to discuss the minimum wage will be held on 21 July; details are attached. If you would like to attend, please reply to Kate Morel at k.morel@gov.je Monday 19 July at the latest.
