The JeCC is pleased to announce that the States of JerseyProperty Holdings Department will be releasing an opportunity to all localcontractors/ suppliers for the inclusion on their Approved Suppliers list ('theList').
The opportunity will be valid for between 3 to 5 years andavailable for the optional use by all trading and non-trading States' departments and organisations on works up to £250k in value. This opportunity will be released to the market through the States of Jersey ePortal from Monday 19 December 2011, with completed applications to be submitted by Monday 30 January 2012. It is presently intended that the List will be available for use from Monday 2 April 2012 at the latest.
It has been asked that members please engage with your local contractor / supplier network to ensure good advance market-engagement andc ollaboration is achieved in relation to this opportunity. Property Holdings intends to liaisewith the Jersey Construction Council and the Chamber of Commerce, to ensure that all members are aware of the opportunity, and a press release will also be issued promoting the opportunity accordingly.
It is imperative, therefore, that all of the contractors /suppliers check that their ePortal registration is valid and working, or, if they are not registered to date, then they must do so by visiting the following location and follow the registration process set out in the Suppliers Section:-
